Job summary

Ascensus, the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America, seeks a Senior Relationship Manager to work closely with Client Services and elite advisors.

You will manage advisory relationships, drive book-of-business retention and organic growth, conduct pricing reviews, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver value and education to C‑level clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in retirement services industry.
• Prior experience with direct client/client equivalent relationships within a financial services administrative environment.
• Ability to work independently as required, but also work within and contribute to maintaining a highly-cohesive team environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with a high level of independence.
• Must be detail oriented and be able to produce high quality work within tight time constraints.
• Ability to make sound business judgments while effectively balancing client needs and organizational considerations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including group presentation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to coordinate and run meetings attended by senior-level personnel in both internal and external environments.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Detailed understanding of investments utilized in retirement programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage elite advisor relationships and grow book of business.
• Provide education and communication strategies with C‑level executives.
• Develop pricing reviews and cross-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to advocate for clients.
• Deliver customized reporting and analytics for advisory relationships.
• Lead projects to create additional value for relationships.
• Ensure profitability through plan reviews and pricing decisions to retain at‑risk clients.
