Job summary

The Department of Economic Security (DES) in Arizona is seeking an Eligibility Interviewer for the Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility. This on-site role in Page handles interviews to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance, with customer-focused service and data entry across multiple screens.

You will participate in training, work independently within a team, and help clients through the interview process while meeting performance standards.

Qualifications

• One year of eligibility reviews or one year of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office for data entry and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in-person and by telephone in a fast-paced office.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals and families in need.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Enter data during interviews and navigate multiple computer screens.
• Adhere to agency standards by metrics, attendance and timeliness.
