DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY (DES) seeks an Eligibility Interviewer in Casa Grande, AZ to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance. This 100% in-office role involves face-to-face interactions, data entry, and adhering to performance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided, and the ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, solid computer literacy, and the ability to work independently while supporting families in need.

Qualifications

• Experience handling customer interactions and providing accurate information.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while assisting clients.
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced office.

Responsibilities

• Interact with individuals and families face-to-face in a field office environment.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients facing challenging situations.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Complete applications and interviews while entering data across multiple screens.
• Follow agency standards in a high-volume office with metrics, attendance and accuracy.
