The Department of Economic Security (DES) invites applications for the Benefits and Eligibility Specialist (Eligibility Interviewer) position located at the North of 160/163 Highway Junction in Kayenta, Arizona. This on-site role supports Arizonans applying for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance with a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, data-entry skills, and the ability to work independently while following agency guidelines.

Formación

• Knowledge of customer service practices.
• Computer navigation of software incl. Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Core math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients in-person and by phone in a fast-paced office environment.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals and families.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Enter data and navigate multiple screens during interviews.
• Adhere to agency standards and metrics.
