Job summary

Otis Elevator is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Tampa, FL to lead field staff, ensure safety and quality, and optimize service delivery. The role focuses on training, staffing decisions, and cost control while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

You will report to the General Manager in Tampa, with travel within the territory. Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills are essential, and elevator industry experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 7 years).
• Experience leading a team of technicians.
• Elevator industry experience is desired but not required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong computer and technology skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory.
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards.
• Allocate resources effectively, including manpower and materials.
• Conduct field education training with field workforce.
• Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callback rates.
• Provide technical support to field staff and authorize repair orders.
