Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Sr Manager, Service Field Engineering to provide technical support and guidance to field associates at our Miami, FL site.

You will lead troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement efforts across service operations, collaborating with field personnel, supervisors, and engineering to resolve equipment issues and drive performance. Periodic travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant technical elevator experience.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based software.
• Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to field personnel and troubleshoot equipment.
• Provide training on all types of equipment and guidance at job sites.
• Improve quality of service, installations, modernization and monitoring reports.
• Communicate technical problems to customers and explain solutions clearly.
• Lead and influence the field team; travel as required.
