Qualifications

• Elevator industry experience or leadership of field technicians in a similar industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based software.
• Strong leadership and time-management skills; goal-oriented.
• HS diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop action plans to address safety, callback rates, and technical support.
• Generate field leads and assist service sales representatives in selling upgrades and repairs.
• Recommend changes in maintenance service documentation, methods, and delivery.
• Set budgets for material and labor within Otis guidelines and complete maintenance/repair within those budgets.
• Conduct field education training to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform field safety audits and jobsite inspections; develop site safety/logistics plans.
• Coordinate all material deliveries and issue purchase orders.
• Forecast and schedule labor resources; maintain customer quality assurance and improve efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers, field employees, clients, and others.
