Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Repair Superintendent to drive productivity and performance of repair projects for the Seattle branch. The role oversees field operations, customer satisfaction, and overall business management.

On a typical day you will lead field operations for elevator repair and upgrades, manage sold open orders and margins, forecast labor and schedule to meet deadlines, coordinate materials, and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in elevator industry or field leadership in a similar industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal/external customers.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft software.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for elevator repair and upgrades.
• Direct field operations for non-contract repairs and hydraulic modernization.
• Manage sold open order projects and protect margin.
• Generate field leads and support service sales.
• Meet deadlines and financial targets including profit and working capital.
• Conduct field safety training and audits.
• Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders.
• Forecast labor resources and schedule for project completion.
• Develop relationships with customers and teams.
• Analyze situations and develop contingency estimates.
