Job summary

Otis is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple installation projects across new equipment rollouts. You will drive on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety standards and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with sales, field operations, contractors, owners, and authorities to ensure alignment with contract documents and project scope. Regular updates to leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience desired.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate contract activities from the project award stage to customer handover and financial close.
• Work closely with the Otis sales and field operations team to ensure installation aligns with contract scope.
• Provide regular updates on project progress to branch, regional and Sr. leadership.
• Proactively communicate with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and regulators regarding design and scheduling.
• Manage billing, owner/contractors’ payments, RFIs and change orders to maximize cash flow.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Accurately analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
