Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple modernization installation projects. You will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction across complex contracts.

The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, strong scheduling and cost-estimating skills, and the ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of activities on multiple modernization projects.
• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to completion and review progress.
• Communicate with cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contractual documents to determine costs of changes.
• Assess situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
