Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Modernization Project Manager to oversee multiple installation projects in New York. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting safety and regulatory requirements, coordinating contract activities from award to completion, and communicating with owners, architects, and authorities.

The role requires 4+ years in elevator project management or construction, plus familiarity with cost estimation, scheduling, and contract administration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years elevator project management or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meets all technical and safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate all contract activities from the project award stage to completion, ensuring documents reflect project scope.
• Communicate with client representatives, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and authorities on design, preparations, and installation scheduling.
• Work with internal sales staff, superintendents, and leadership to ensure project success financially and for the customer.
• Manage billing, payments to consultants and contractors, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contract documents and changes to determine cost and develop contingencies for estimates.
