Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple installation projects. This on-site role focuses on ensuring on-time delivery, safety compliance, budget adherence, and high customer satisfaction across complex modernization efforts.

You will work with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes and optimize financial performance while maintaining Otis standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder relations.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft software in technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Travel up to 25% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless project execution on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion.
• Communicate with cross-functional partners regularly.
• Collaborate with sales, superintendents, and leadership for project success.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret construction documents and modifications for cost.
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
