Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Modernization Project Manager to oversee multiple installation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strict safety standards.

You will coordinate contracts from award through completion, work with sales, superintendents, and senior leadership, and manage payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize project cash flow. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience
• Familiar with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder relationships
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-schedule, within budget, and meets safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion and review progress for scope alignment
• Proactively communicate with cross-functional partners
• Collaborate with sales staff, superintendents, and leadership to ensure financial and customer success
• Manage billing, consultant and contractor payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow
• Interpret contractual documents and modifications to determine costs
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates
