Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple modernization installations. You will ensure projects run on schedule, within budget, and meet safety and regulatory standards while satisfying customers.

The role requires 4+ years in elevator project management or construction, with strong communication and leadership skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and full benefits are offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for role

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by meeting schedule, budget and safety standards
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion and review progress
• Communicate with client representatives, contractors, owners, and authorities regarding design and scheduling
• Collaborate with internal sales, superintendents, and leadership to ensure financial and customer success
• Manage billing, payments to consultants/contractors, RFIs, and change orders
• Interpret contractual documents and modifications to determine cost impacts
• Analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates
