Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a Modernization Project Manager to coordinate multi-project modernization efforts in the Atlanta area. You will drive on-time, on-budget execution while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

You’ll collaborate with sales, superintendents, and senior leadership, manage contract administration, change orders, RFIs, and payments, and translate complex drawings into actionable plans. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience desired.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flawless execution of each project by ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion, with progress reviews to ensure scope alignment.
• Proactively communicate with cross-functional partners across the organization.
• Work with internal sales, superintendents, and leadership to ensure financial and customer success.
• Interpret construction contractual documents, manage change orders, payments, RFIs, and related tasks to optimize cash flow.
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates and project plans.
