Otis Elevator Company is seeking a motivated Modernization Project Manager in New York to oversee multi-site installation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with a strong focus on safety and quality. You will collaborate with sales, field teams, and leadership to align financial and client objectives.

The role requires 4+ years in elevator project management or construction, proficiency in cost estimation, scheduling, and contract administration, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience required.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder relations.
• Self-motivated, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software in technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of multiple modernization installations from award to completion.
• Ensure on-schedule, within-budget execution meeting safety standards and client expectations.
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and authorities.
• Collaborate with sales, superintendents, and leadership to balance financial and customer goals.
• Manage contract writing, administration, billing, payments, RFIs and change orders.
• Interpret contractual documents and cost implications of modifications.
• Support contingency planning for estimates and project risks.
