Job summary

Schindler is seeking a Field Superintendent for Existing Installations in Philadelphia. You will supervise servicing and maintenance of units, manage routes and logistics, and partner with operations managers to achieve service and profitability targets.

You will lead a team of field technicians, enforce safety practices, and contribute to continuous improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction. Base salary is competitive, with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or related field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing, maintenance and repair of assigned EI units to meet customer and company standards.
• Build a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians and ensuring contract requirements.
• Coordinate routes, scheduling, parts ordering and payroll verification while ensuring profitability.
• Collaborate with Area/Territory Operations Managers to implement best practices and meet service metrics.
• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customers to resolve operational challenges.
