Job summary

Schindler in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr Field Superintendent of Existing Installations (EI) to oversee servicing, maintenance, and repair of assigned units. You will lead field technicians, coordinate routes and parts, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and profitability targets.

You will also collaborate with sales and project managers, develop technicians through training, and help manage preventive maintenance strategies while aligning with company standards and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• 5+ years of technical leadership or elevator industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues.
• Willingness to be on call.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing, maintenance and repair of assigned units to meet quality and safety standards.
• Lead field technicians and manage project oversight and costs.
• Coordinate routes, scheduling, parts orders and payroll verification for profitability.
• Collaborate with Area/Territory Managers to apply best practices and metrics.
• Perform site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance.
• Educate technicians and manage logistics for preventive maintenance.
• Partner with sales and program managers during contracts to ensure satisfaction.
