Job summary

Schindler is seeking a Sr Field Supt EI in Washington, DC to oversee existing installations' servicing, maintenance, and repair. You will lead field teams, manage routes, coordinate parts, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while driving profitability.

You’ll work closely with operations managers, perform site inspections, and mentor technicians through training and performance programs to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues.
• Proven leadership skills and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing, maintenance and repair of assigned EI units to meet quality and safety standards.
• Lead field technicians and manage routes, scheduling, parts ordering and payroll verification.
• Collaborate with Area/Territory Managers to achieve service financial and delivery metrics.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and quality control across projects.
• Educate technicians through training and performance programs to improve service delivery.
