Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation, a leader in elevator manufacturing and service, seeks a Manager, Repair Ops to oversee elevator repair and open-order work across the Marietta, GA territory. You will partner with field leadership to coordinate parts, scheduling, safety, and project follow-up from surveys to jobsite readiness.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in elevator operations or leading field teams, strong planning and vendor relations, and the ability to manage multiple projects with evolving

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years elevator industry experience or leading field associates/technicians in a similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant elevator or related industry experience
• Experience as a mechanic, field leader, project manager, or in a similar operational role
• Knowledge of elevator equipment, parts, material channels, and industry vendors
• Ability to identify and order the correct materials accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with elevator safety protocols, safety plans, jobsite inspections, and FPA audits
• Ability to coordinate field work and manage project performance against estimates
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build credibility and productive relationships with experienced field mechanics
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing field priorities
• Comfort using Microsoft-based computer software and operational systems

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of elevator repair, open-order, testing, and hydro modification work
• Coordinate parts, purchase orders, and material deliveries to ensure the correct materials are available when needed
• Complete job surveys and follow up on active and completed work to verify quality, workmanship, and jobsite readiness
• Support mechanic scheduling, weekly time administration, labor planning, and daily field activities
• Configure and use E-Log to track hydro modification projects, labor hours, and ordered materials
• Monitor project performance against estimates and help resolve operational issues
• Perform field safety audits, FPA audits, and jobsite inspections while reinforcing safe work practices
• Build productive relationships with field employees, customers, vendors, and internal partners
• Support modernization crews and direct-report responsibilities, if assigned
