Job summary

Soho House Chicago is seeking a Server who can educate members and guests on the menu, allergies, and pairings, while delivering an elevated experience in line with Soho House Service Standards.

You will enter orders into the POS, support FOH/BOH teams, and help ensure accurate service, handling high-volume shifts with a positive, flexible attitude.

The role requires at least 2 years of similar experience, hospitality passion, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate the dining experience with food and drink pairings and discuss specials to drive sales.
• Advise on allergies or red flags to management and chef.
• Complete end-of-shift reports with management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company standards.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly.
• Assist runners and bussers with tickets and service bar.
• Stock server area and polish cutlery and glassware.
• Knowledge of the menu to make recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
