Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Server to educate members and guests on menu items, allergies, and present an elevated service aligned with Soho House Standards. The role collaborates with FOH/BOH teams, handles orders in the POS, and assists with pre/post service duties to ensure guest satisfaction.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and be flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Capable of fast-paced, high-volume service and problem solving under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-focused.
• Demonstrates competency per training schedule and Club School.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Able to take direction, work in a team and independently.
• POS knowledge and tips certified.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate dining experience with food and drink pairings and discuss specials.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management to mitigate risk.
• Complete and sign-out reports with management review.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies and laws.
• Ensure courses are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Clean and stock server area, polish silverware, plates and glassware.
• Know the menu to make guest recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
