Job summary

Soho House Chicago is seeking a proactive Server to deliver an elevated dining experience to members and guests. You will educate guests on menu items, accommodate allergies, and coordinate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and stay calm while solving problems under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service.
• Must demonstrate competency per the training schedule (Club School).
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team and autonomously.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists on all trained processes learned in Club School.
• Positively influence members and guests by elevating the dining experience with menu knowledge and specials to drive sales.
• Maintain allergy communication with Management and Executive Chef to mitigate risks.
• Complete all checkout reports at shift end; get sign-off from management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and all company policies and laws.
• Ensure food orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets to support orders.
• Keep server alley and bar area clean and stocked.
• Know the menu to make suggestions to members/guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
