Job summary

Soho House & Co. in West Hollywood is seeking a Server who can educate members and guests on the menu, allergies, and specials, while upholding Soho House Service Standards and delivering an elevated dining experience.

You will collaborate with FOH and BOH teams, enter orders accurately into the POS, and support service staff during busy shifts while maintaining a positive, guest-focused demeanor. The role requires at least two years in a similar setting, a hospitable attitude, and flexibility

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and solves problems calmly.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Can follow the training schedule and Club School guidance.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to take direction, work in a team and autonomously.
• POS knowledge and tips certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate the dining experience by discussing specials and pairing options to drive sales.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to prevent risks throughout the night.
• Complete all checkout reports with management review and sign-off.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies and local laws.
• Ensure proper plating and coursing before serving to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with tickets to support all table orders.
• Clean and stock server alley, polish silverware, plates, and glassware.
• Know the menu well and make informed recommendations to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
