Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Georgia seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring and perceptive and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining attendance and records, and engaging with school communities.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and prepare substitutes as needed
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers and promote LifeWise's mission
