Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part‑time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms by delivering the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to the role.

The teacher will complete training, implement lessons, build relationships with students, and stay aligned with LifeWise policies while engaging with school staff and volunteers throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and manage behavior in a redemptive manner.
• Take attendance and maintain rosters and needed health or permission information.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director about schedules and student well‑being.
