Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share Bible knowledge and engaging instruction with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching children.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; prepare information for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety and procedures for emergencies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; share updates, stories and photos.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions, aligning with core values.
