Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part‑time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The role requires active church involvement, strong communication, and caring, perceptive teaching of children using LifeWise materials.

The candidate should have at least two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise’s Statement of Faith. Participation in local church activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and follow LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance and prepare materials for substitutes when needed.
• Communicate schedule changes and student well‑being with school personnel.
