Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Georgia seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher to share biblical teaching with public school students in a classroom setting. The role emphasizes active church involvement, strong communication, and compassionate, relational teaching of children.

You will complete training, use LifeWise curriculum, maintain records, and engage with school personnel and volunteers while modeling the organization’s faith-based mission in all duties.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing LifeWise training and certification within required timeframes.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized classroom and ensure a redemptive disciplinary approach.
• Take attendance, maintain rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
