Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Georgia seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel through Bible-informed classroom instruction in a public school setting. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include delivering LifeWise curricula, maintaining attendance and class records, building relationships with students and volunteers, and representing LifeWise in school and community activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Attend training and LifeWise events, and stay updated on policies and resources.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters, and health/special needs information.
• Create an organized, encouraging classroom environment and manage behavior redemptively.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director regularly.
