Job summary

Illahee Elementary School in Camas, WA, part of Evergreen Public Schools, seeks a part-time Special Education Paraeducator to support instructional activities under the supervision of the classroom teacher and building principal.

The role involves one-to-one and small-group support, data collection, and helping implement IEPs, with daily hours roughly 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. on school days, plus early-release and full Wednesday variations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one or more: ParaPro 455+; Associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits; Completed Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education teacher with instructional activities and IEP goals.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction.
• Maintain learning environment and collect student progress data.
• Assist with administering tests and implementing behavior plans.
