Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support students at Fisher's Landing Elementary School in Vancouver, WA. You will work under the Special Education Instructor and Building Principal to implement IEP goals and assist with classroom activities.

Hours are 6.33 per day (7:40 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 190 days/year), with 4.33 hours on early-release days and 6.17 hours on designated Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen (18) years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of the following: ETS ParaPro score 455+, an Associate Degree or higher, 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits, or completion of a Paraeducator Apprenticeship Program.
• Ability to work with students individually and in small groups under teacher direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of instructional activities with elementary/secondary students.
• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with organizing materials, data collection, and supporting IEP goals.
