Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator at Evergreen High School in Vancouver, WA. The role supports students with IEPs under the supervision of the Special Education instructor and building principal.

Work hours are 6 hours daily, with a 30-minute lunch, across 190 days per year. Qualified applicants must meet Washington paraeducator requirements or possess equivalent education/experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and meet Paraeducator requirements.
• Qualified candidates may have an ETS ParaPro score or higher education credits.
• Apprenticeship or college credits are acceptable as alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education services and supports per IEP goals.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group instruction as directed.
• Maintain data on student progress and assist in assessments.
• Implement behavior management strategies as outlined by the teacher.
