Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools is hiring a Special Education Paraeducator for Union High School in Camas, WA. The position supports students with IEPs in a school setting, working under the Special Education instructor and building principal.

The role is part-time, 6 hours per day during the school year with some early-release days and a 180/190 day calendar. Training, benefits, and salary steps are provided per district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one of: ETS ParaPro score 455+, Associate degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, or Paraeducator Apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education services and supports to students per IEP.
• Offer one-to-one and small-group instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Assess student progress and collect data toward IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate data on student progress and assist in testing.
