Job summary

LifeWise Academy invites a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms using LifeWise materials. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, communicates well, and loves children, bringing a compassionate, perceptive approach to teaching.

Responsibilities include completing the required training and certification within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes, building relationships with students, and maintaining organized records while promoting the program's

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and Certification within 30 days
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and tailor as needed
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly
• Maintain an organized, encouraging and redemptive classroom environment
• Maintain attendance, health concerns, and permissions records
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers and stay updated via LifeWise email
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions
