Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share biblical lessons with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring and perceptive.

The role requires a minimum of two years’ classroom teaching experience in school or church settings, a mature Christian faith, and active local church involvement aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters as required
• Keep a well-ordered classroom and manage emergencies
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise program director
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in duties and interactions
