Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting, combining Bible knowledge with teaching skills. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise faith statement.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters with health and permission notes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergencies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
