Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking an Applications Engineer-I in Electronic Warfare. Hybrid schedule in West Los Angeles with 3 onsite days. You will design, test, and support EW software and systems, collaborating with R&D and sales to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Travel up to 25% for in-person engineering support. Requirements include a BS in EE/CS, strong communication, and SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, multimeters, signal generators).
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work at customer sites.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design and test complete solutions for electronic warfare products.
• Define new products/ features and perform field trials.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and provide customer/sales support.
• Assist with demonstrations, training, testing, and bug recreation.
• Create customer-facing documents and content (manuals, guides, notes).
• Provide in-person engineering support up to 25% travel.
