Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking an Applications Engineer‑I, Electronic Warfare in West Los Angeles, CA. You will drive a range of applications engineering activities and support customers and the sales team as part of the engineering group.

The role emphasizes design and testing of electronic warfare solutions, product evaluations, and close collaboration with R&D to advance EW software and hardware. Expect up to 25% travel to customer sites and field tests.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM degree.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment and instruments.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and test complete EW solutions for unique problems.
• Define new products/features and perform evaluations/field trials.
• Collaborate with R&D Engineers on EW product lines.
• Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Travel up to 25% for on-site support and demos.
• Create customer-facing documents and content for manuals.
