Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer – Electronic Warfare to support pre- and post-sales activities, demonstrations, and training for defense and public safety customers. The role emphasizes technical selling, customer interactions, and travel across locations.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in defense tech (EW, SIGINT, ISR), a background in RF sensing, and proficiency with C/C++ and Linux. Remote work is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required or a High School Diploma/GED with substantial experience.
• 3–5 years in Defense technology, EW, SIGINT, ISR, RF sensing, or adjacent domains.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training at customer sites.
• Demonstrate and explain Silvus sensing products and advantages over competing technologies.
• Travel 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
