Job summary

Silvus Technologies, now part of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer – Electronic Warfare to work with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to deliver tailored EW solutions. You will participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and support of Silvus’ RF sensing products.

This role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and requires travel and customer-facing interactions. The position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years pre- and post-sales technical support experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Defense tech, EW, SIGINT, ISR, RF sensing, or related domains.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, customer training, and optimization.
• Become an expert on Silvus sensing products and its advantages over competing tech.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training.
• Troubleshoot failures and abnormal field situations and provide feedback to development team.
• Travel 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
