Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer - Electronic Warfare to partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to deliver tailored EW solutions. You will participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and customer training, traveling to sites as needed and supporting product development efforts.

This role emphasizes customer interaction, entrepreneurial tech mindset, and travel versatility, with remote work considered depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 6+ years in pre-/post-sales tech support with HS diploma.
• 3-5 years experience in Defense tech, EW, SIGINT, ISR, RF sensing or related domains.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and customer training.
• Become an expert on Silvus sensing products and advantages over rivals.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and collaborate with development to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Design and R&D to reproduce problems and provide feedback.
• Support resources allocation and hardware maintenance for sales activities.
• Travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations (50%).
