Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electronic Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls and performing maintenance on video, alarm, and access control systems. You will work closely with a dynamic team, perform installations or upgrades on small projects, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to electronic security systems.
• Some programming skills and proven troubleshooting ability.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and routine maintenance for security systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and update systems.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Install small projects and perform system upgrades as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high quality service and safety compliance.
