Job summary

Puttshack is seeking an Electronic Game Support / Maintenance Technician to maintain our game technology and equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and report issues to keep the course running smoothly and ensure a fun guest experience.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics and mechanics experience, exposure to PC hardware, and the ability to read schematics. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a focus on safety and performance in a busy entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical support or maintenance.
• Proficient with computer systems, technology and PC hardware installations.
• Ability to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game.
• Familiarity with technical documentation; read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with electronic circuitry and testing equipment.
• Practical electronics and mechanics experience.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
• Guest-focused mindset to provide an exceptional experience.
• Effective communication with management, peers, and guests.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including days, nights, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• The position requires working in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• The technician will move about the facility and stand for long periods.
• Kneel, stoop, bend and twist frequently while servicing equipment.
• Read and write handwritten notes related to work orders.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Work in potentially confined, crowded spaces with variable noise and temperature.
• Move and troubleshoot components such as actuators and small conveyors.
• Use hand tools to fine-tune small components and electronics.
