Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Locust Grove, GA is seeking an Electro/Mech Technician to troubleshoot PLCs, drives, servo, HMI, CNC, and MES integration while driving safety and continuous improvement on production equipment.

Qualified candidates have a technical degree or extensive field experience, strong PLC knowledge, and the ability to work independently or in a team to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in related field strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical systems.
• Proficient with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment across multiple trades.
• Adhere to NFPA 79 and electrical safety programs.
• Mentor technicians and support TPM objectives.
• Implement preventative maintenance and document results.
• Assist in machine installation, modifications and testing.
• Support plant operations to maximize asset reliability.
