Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot and improve production equipment with strong electrical safety focus and NFPA 79 knowledge. You will mentor other technicians and work with PLCs, drives, servo systems, HMI, CNC and MES integration to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires PLC/electromechanical troubleshooting, reading prints, machine upgrading, and collaboration with management for TPM objectives and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Read mechanical, fluid power, electrical, and building prints.
• Follow safety practices such as lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machine guarding.
• Experience with TPM objectives and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical functions and electrical controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work completed.
• Coordinate with vendors and inventory replacement parts.
• Prepare machines for production with installation and testing.
• Support production independently and in teams.
