Job summary
Andersen Corporation is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance technician responsible for electrical and mechanical system upkeep in our Bayport, MN facility. You will troubleshoot PLC, HMI, CNC equipment and drive systems while mentoring apprentices and maintaining safety standards.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/79 is required. The role emphasizes TPM and CI practices, with hands-on service of motors, MCCs, pumps and gearboxes.
Qualifications
- Must hold Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC, drives, servo, HMI, CNC systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70/79 electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Mentor apprentice electricians and support safety programs.
- Enforce NFPA 79 and electrical code compliance.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, CNC, drives and sensors.
- Maintain MCCs, motors, pumps and mechanical components.
- Support TPM and CI initiatives with reliable equipment.
- Read diagrams, align shafts and service mechanical seals.
