Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Bayport, MN, seeks a highly skilled electrical/mechanical technician to support production equipment and drive reliability. You will troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems, follow NFPA 79 standards, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will participate in ongoing training on robotics, controls, CNC systems, and safety programs while contributing to continuous improvement and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with NFPA 70E LOTO and safety programs.
• Ability to lead/mentor other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Mentor and coach other technicians to improve reliability and skills.
• Enforce NFPA 79 code compliance on electrical installations and PLC/HMI programs.
• Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely.
• Engage in ongoing training in electrical/mechanical technologies and code compliance.
