Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance.
• 1+ years experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks or Siemens.

Responsibilities

• Create precision mechanical/electrical design layouts from verbal instructions, sketches, or models.
• Prepare records for release of design data into the company systems.
• Mentor new mechanical designers and engineers in design processes and documentation release.
• Ensure designs adhere to company, industry, and contractual standards.
• Prepare technical documentation for release and manage document control workflows.
