Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX seeks an established Mechanical Engineer for an on-site role in the Airborne Sensor RF Design Department. You will design and document electro-mechanical assemblies and coordinate with suppliers across the US.

Requirements: ABET-accredited Mechanical or Aerospace degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, Creo and GD&T proficiency, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of relevant electro-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo Parametric or similar CAD tool.
• Experience working with internal and/or external suppliers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to meet production goals with program leadership.
• Work in a multi-disciplined team covering production, aerostructure, housing design, electronics packaging, and thermal management.
• Coordinate with the Integrated Program Team Lead, Program Management, and Supply Chain.
• Travel to external suppliers and Raytheon facilities as needed (up to 20%).
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles to design documentation and fabrication.
